Red Rock Job Corps Center is located in the beautiful, “Endless Mountains” region of Northeast, PA. Red Rock is in close proximity to the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre area, and 120 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Serving approximately 640 students annually, the majority of Red Rock students come from the Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, Poconos and Scranton-Wilkes-Barre areas with some from New York and Delaware.

Life for students at Red Rock centers around the campus, and includes extended academic education opportunities, recreational activities such as movie and shopping trips, field trips related to academics and trade curricula, as well as many onsite recreational opportunities coordinated through the Center’s Social Development Department.  Students are encouraged to participate in activities sponsored by the Center’s  active Student Government Association.

Located next to Rickett’s Glen State Park, Red Rock is located at the top of Red Rock Mountain, 2,449 feet above sea level. Once a base used by the United States Air Force, outdoor life at Red Rock is abundant. Students frequently participate in community service projects and activities that take them outdoors. While at Red Rock, students reside in newly constructed residence halls.
