The Sacramento Job Corps Center is located in Sacramento, CA. The Sacramento Center houses 304 residential students and 110 non-residential students. It offers vocational training in 12 trades, a GED program and an online high school diploma program. The majority of students come from California. Adams and Associates, a subcontractor to MJLM, is responsible for residential living and placement services.

The Sacramento Center sits on 160 acres in the Freeport area of South Sacramento. It is located on the former campus of the California Highway Patrol Academy and has immediate access to everything California’s capital city has to offer.

Students can participate in the Student Government Association, peer leadership classes, seasonal sports teams and various student clubs. They also enjoy educational field trips, job site visits and offsite recreational activities such as trips to Old Sacramento, the Sacramento Zoo, Shakespeare in the Park and the Jazz Festival and sporting events, as well as museums, arts and cultural events. Onsite recreational offerings include arts & crafts, a full gymnasium, stadium-style seating theater, dance teams, weight room, aerobics room and student store. Students participate in many areas of community service including the annual Cancer Walk, blood drives, and the William Land Park Golf Course where they clean the park area, paint beaches and work on other projects.
