Kittrell Graduate Heads for Edison

Ali-Ihsan Salim Abdul-Haqq Lymus enrolled at Kittrell Job Corps Center on November 8, 2016 and met all requirements to become a graduate on June 12. Woodland Partners with Mobern Electric

Independent Electrical Contractors-Chesapeake and the Woodland Job Corps Center embarked on an outstanding apprenticeship/workforce training partnership that was implemented over the course of eight weeks. Mobern Electric partnered with Woodland to employ 6 IEC-Chesapeake Pre-apprentice/Job Corps students within a manufacturing setting. Exeter Featured in Rhode Island Builders Publication

Treasure Island Paints Veterans’ Apartment

Treasure Island Job Corps Center Business Construction Technologies (BCT) students recently spent a week painting an apartment for island partner, Swords to Plowshares. Grafton Students Accepted for Reliant Internships

Five newly completed Certified Medical Assistant students from the Grafton Job Corps Center have been accepted to Reliant Medical Group internships. This announcement comes after a rigorous, day-long interview process, written test and clinical exam. Woodland Gives Back to Sarah’s House

Woodland Job Corps Center gave back to a longtime Work-Based Learning partner this month, volunteering with various tasks. Sarah’s House, an emergency placement program for battered, abused and homeless families, is one of Woodland's most consistent partners. It provides Woodland students Work-Based Learning opportunities, along with employment. Woodland Helps Build Outdoor Classroom for Laurel Elementary

Woodland Job Corps Center students once again helped elementary school students find their place in the sun, as they joined volunteers to build an outdoor classroom for Laurel Elementary School.
