The students read various Dr. Seuss books to the children such as “The Cat in the Hat.”
Michael Wallace, Chief Justice of the SGA, encouraged more students to participate in the readings throughout the day.
Youth 2 Youth Ambassador Ali-ihsan Abdul- Haaq Lymus even drew pictures of Dr. Seuss characters and created his own story. He asked the children to imagine what would they say to the character if the character visited the class.
“I’m most thankful for the opportunity to encourage, motivate, and inspire these kids to enjoy reading,” he said.
