AT_breastcancerThe Atterbury Job Corps Center Recreation Department took students to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Oct. 21.

It was a 3,000-mile walk around the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Students met several survivors who shared their stories and passion for saving other lives from breast cancer. Hundreds of people of all ages attended the event showing their dedication and support to improving breast cancer research, and that no one walks alone through life’s challenges.

Students Darkaisha Johnson and Kristian Bowman even ended up in the very front of the whole pack!

Atterbury thanks everyone who participated in this event.
