DV_cancerpatientsDelaware Valley Job Corps Center students participated in a multi-county effort to bring a little extra happiness to the lives of cancer patients in Orange and Sullivan Counties.

The students assembled 36 bags for cancer patients and will distribute them between Orange County Regional Hospital’s Care Center and the United Way of Sullivan County’s homeless program for homeless. The idea for this project was generated from the students themselves on Rosa Parks dorm who wanted to help these two charities. It was also part of the Martin Luther King Day of Service’s efforts to give back to the community.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this powerful cause.
