JO_weathertechJoliet Job Corps Center brought home a guest from its visit to the Gordon Food Show in February.

Chef Mark Stutz of WeatherTech’s kitchen staff visited the Culinary Arts class to offer tips and some interview practice. Chef Stutz spent 3 hours quizzing the students on their trade and demonstrating his own special method for kneading dough. He said he was interested in the program after watching how professionally students interacted with different vendors at the food show.

Chef Stutz plans on more visits to continue shaping students into employable candidates.
