Three Culinary students, Te’Von Williams, Ryan Silver and Olivia Ursini joined more than 40 New Hampshire businesses to showcase their skills for policymakers during Experience New Hampshire in Washington, D.C. Students presented their pecan diamonds and maple teacakes alongside displays from restaurants, tourist destinations and breweries.
Before the festivities, students joined U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen and other participants for a coffee mingle. They also participated in a U.S. Capitol tour.
As always, guests raved about the students’ treats and professional presentation. Senator Shaheen has invited Culinary students to this event for several years, perhaps in part to their delicious teacakes.
