WL_towsonuniWoodland Job Corps Center Advanced Culinary students prepared the reception for the Maryland Workforce at Towson University.

The students were there with Center Director Norman Turner, who delivered a presentation on “Preparing Maryland’s Diverse Population to Enter the Workforce Pipeline” to 200 attendees. He discussed how Woodland is preparing an increasingly diverse student population to meet the demands of a 21st century workforce.

“An inclusive workplace allows organizations to be more creative, competitive and innovative. When you leave this forum, go out there and speak to my students… They are the best of the best and when you speak to them you will see,” he said.
