EX_hospitalityassocExeter Job Corps Center Advanced Culinary students scored a hole-in-one with their masterful menu for the Rhode Island Hospitality Association Golf Classic.

Students impressed guests at the Quidnessett Country Club with their spicy Asian noodles with shrimp and pork belly sliders; scallops, risotto rice and barbecue chicken with pineapple salsa; pork sliders; lamb meat balls with student Gloria Matias’ special spices; zucchini and squash and baklava cheesecake. Gloria’s meatballs were a particular fave, sending guests back for seconds and even thirds!

“From the menu development and prep to the execution, the students were creative and professional. Thanks for elevating the event and I look forward to future collaborations,” said Chef Robert Viel of Gordon’s Food (pictured here with students and Exeter Chef Mark Bennison), which partnered with Exeter for the event.
