WS_carloslogginsWoodstock Job Corps Center graduate Carlos Loggins rolled into the spotlight during the Youth Career Expo held at Charles Herbert Flowers High School.

Carlos (pictured 2nd from the left with Business & Community Liaison Rashein Gibbs, Maryland CTS Director Jennifer Beil, Panelist Tory Grifin and President of the Prince George’s County Workforce Development Board Walter Simmons) featured on the Career Options Success Stories Panel to speak about his journey to become a Social Media Associate for Amtrak. He earned his Network and Cabling credential at Woodstock, where he served as Student Government Association Dorm President and accompanied Mr. Gibbs to promote Job Corps.

Carlos graduated Woodstock in February 2017 and attended the Advanced Training TCU program at Potomac. He completed the program in June and makes $23 an hour at Amtrak.

“I have a solid career now because of the Woodstock Center and all I invested was my time,” Carlos said.
