TI_cookiesTreasure Island Job Corps Center Advanced Culinary students April Hidalgo, Dustin Rocha and Alina Haywood experienced the true meaning of the Christmas crunch, whipping up 3,400 holiday treats for their Pastry International – San Francisco internship.

They worked on orders that included 800 gingerbread houses and 400 Buche de Noel, along with large amounts of Stollen, holiday tortes, chocolate mousse desserts and of course Christmas cookies. Recipients ranged all across the Bay Area, including Google and Facebook.

Back at TI, the rest of the AT students created their own Gingerbread Central for local recipients and even tried their hand at the classic TI Stollen.
