GR_open skyGrafton Job Corps Center community spirit soared during a painting project at Open Sky Community Services in Worcester, MA.

Students Vladimir Caraballo, Derek Buonasaro and Joseph Walz (not pictured) joined Grafton 2011 graduates Alex Acevedo and Edwin Gomez to spruce up living space within the facility. Mr. Acevedo and Mr. Gomez are the crew leads for Open Sky’s construction renovation division. Open Sky was looking to add some color to their living accommodations for their clients.

Grafton wanted to give back to Open Sky, which provides multiple services to its students, including mental health services, counseling, housing assistance and support for developmental disabilities. The Center regularly partners with Open Sky for these community-building activities.

Open Sky Community Services was formerly known as The Bridge and Alternatives.
