They worked on MannaPacks, meals consisting of rice, soy nuggets, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring with 20 vitamins and minerals. The facility sends the MannaPacks to meal than 70 countries. They’re used at orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty.
Joliet students packed enough food to feed 80 children for two years. For their hard work, they were treated to a pizza buffet afterward.
