Students Charles Chapman and Alicia Moulton met with Human Resources Manager Karen Micklas to learn about NAPA’s supply chain, logistics and product distribution processes, as well as current job opportunities. Both students were impressed by the size of the facility and its ability to supply so many stores in the northeast region.
“When you walk into a part store or have one delivered to your shop, you never think about how many people it takes to get a product to the customer,” Charles said. “Seeing this warehouse is unbelievable. There’s a lot of hard work and planning that goes into this stuff. Just seeing this place makes me appreciate the entire trade a lot more.”
Glenmont also discussed with the NAPA the possibility of providing Work-Based Learning training for Glenmont students.
