This final resting place is one of the oldest in Schuylkill County, with many grave sites dating prior to the Civil War. Due to its size and the abundance of trees, the hardest task is collecting leaves, which accumulate over the fall. The leaves fill many truckloads and require a large turnout of volunteers to move them all.
Keystone students worked side by side with the local helpers to complete this worthy task. They also removed other debris that collected during the winter.
Everyone who helped remarked on how fulfilled they were after a day of hard work making this resting place a fitting tribute.
