FG_calebgreenFlint/Genesee Job Corps Center Security student Caleb Green has enlisted with the U.S. Army in hopes of becoming a combat medic.

Caleb scored a 74 on the ASVAB, which is the military placement test. This score gave him the ability to choose the military occupational specialty of his choice. Caleb has long wanted to become a combat medic so that when he has finishes his service to the country he can work towards becoming a physician’s assistant. Upon enlistment, Caleb was promoted to Security Captain, which means he is responsible for leading his fellow cadets towards preparing for careers after Job Corps.

Caleb will ship to Fort Sill,OK in August for Basic Training. After that, he will attend Advanced Infantry Training at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
