KS_daycareKeystone Job Corps Center Security students once again promoted child safety during a visit to the Little Learners Daycare and Child Learning Center in Hazleton, PA.

Security students spoke to children about many aspects of safety and how to recognize the sign of an unsafe situation. They discussed the dangers in a home and how to react in the event that something does go wrong.

The highlight of the visit was the children receiving their DNA. kits, which provide parents or guardians with a fingerprint chart, personal information, medical information, detailed physical description including birthmark and scar chart and a DNA sample. This kit has become very popular and is requested by many daycare facilities and elementary schools throughout the region. Keystone Security students interact with the children prior to them completing the kits. This helps the children develop a sense of trust with the Security cadets and makes the administering of the kits a fun experience for all.

Little Learners enjoyed the visit so much that they even posted about it on their Facebook page.
