NH_entrepNew Hampshire Job Corps Center hosted a former Job Corps graduate seeking workers for his new business.

Roger Adams, from Adams Energy in Canterbury, NH, spoke with the Electrical students about renewable energy systems – most notably, solar panels. Roger graduated from the Carpentry trade at Trapper Creek Job Corps Center, in Derby, Montana. Upon graduation, he moved to New Hampshire and began work on his apprenticeship. He earned his Master electricians license, and quickly started his own business in 2017.

Roger employs six licensed electricians, and is looking to add on more to his team. He was impressed with the Center and is actively seeking full-time apprentice positions among students.
